Biography

My approach to marketing is not to market at all. I believe in building a lasting connection with people based on common beliefs and trust. Although people respond to traditional marketing out of necessity, people are loyal to the companies they feel a connection with. I help businesses establish this very connection.

I believe in being authentic but I understand that authenticity, by itself, is not enough. That’s where my process comes in. People come to me for my technical SEO ability but more often than not, they adopt my process. The SEO becomes a critical piece of the picture, but not a main focus.

SEO is simply making sure that technicalities are in place on a website. It removes the barrier to rank in the Search Engines. But it’s what you do creatively that will impact Rankings the most. Creativity becomes the foundation of our communication. Meaningful connections are the foundation of earning loyal customers while creative differentiation becomes a form of communication to make the connection in the first place. My creative difference is my process. And my process is all about helping others find their creative difference. As a team, we start by stepping back and taking a look at the larger picture. We ask, “why do we exist?” Not always easy, but always worth it. Once we have purpose, we have the core of our differentiation and a direction for everything else. With purpose in mind, we create a vision, mission, and a goal. The goal is meaningful, measurable, and has a target date. We reach our goals with an Inbound approach to shining a light our creative difference. As a team, we build creative assets for the website, optimize them with technical SEO, and conduct Outreach (strategic networking) through Social Media and good old fashioned meeting people face to face. We track metrics, check in weekly, and make changes based on real data. So it gets tactical. But it’s the purpose that inspires action and drives results.
